No. Create an account on the free plan without a card. Upgrade to Pro when your team needs more members, prompts, or test cases. ### Is Pro priced per seat? No. Pro is $99 per organization per month, with unlimited members. Invite everyone who reviews prompt changes without counting seats. ### Are model costs included in my plan? Generation and LLM judge calls are charged separately on every plan. With your provider key, the provider bills you directly. With PromptLens credits, we reserve an estimated cost and settle against OpenRouter's reported USD cost; rates depend on the model, route, and token usage. Buy optional $50 packs; there are no automatic refills. Failed calls may still incur provider-reported usage, and interrupted calls can remain pending until their cost is confirmed. Trace cost metadata reports your application's usage; sending it does not charge your credit balance. ### How do Pro welcome credits work? The first confirmed Pro activation grants $50 once per organization. Renewals and replacement subscriptions do not refill it. Welcome and purchased credits never expire and remain after cancellation. ### How are evaluation runs counted? A started evaluation counts as one run, regardless of its case count. Each person can start 50 runs in a rolling 24 hours on Free and 100 on Pro. Dashboard setup evaluates the full initial dataset: up to 50 cases on Free or 500 on Pro. After setup, quick scope uses the first 10 cases; Pro's comprehensive scope runs the whole dataset, up to 500 cases. Generation, baseline reruns, and judge calls can each add model usage. ### What can I test on Free? Build a 50-case ticket-routing suite with routine requests, ambiguous categories, and edge cases. Use dashboard setup to run every case and establish the initial baseline, then use quick checks on the first 10 cases and share the report with your teammate. Free is ongoing, with 2 members and 3 prompts. Model access requires your provider key or purchased credits. ### What are the tracing limits and retention? Standard limits are the same on Free and Pro, and are the default for Teams: 500 spans/second and 8 MiB/second per organization, shared across keys, with bursts of 2,000 spans and 16 MiB. Each OpenTelemetry JSON request accepts up to 50 spans and 1 MiB. Traces and captured content are retained for 14 days from first acceptance. There is no monthly span quota or separate ingestion charge. Rate-limited requests return HTTP 429; retry with backoff. Teams requirements are agreed before purchase. ### What happens if I cancel or reach a limit? Cancelling renewal keeps Pro access until the paid period ends. Existing workspace data and credits remain; traces still follow their 14-day retention policy. Resource and evaluation caps block new operations rather than adding automatic overage fees. On Free, more than 2 members pauses workspace use until an admin reduces membership or restores Pro; admins can still manage members and billing. ### Who can view a shared report? Anyone with the report link can open it without an account or paid seat. Shared report links are unlimited on every plan. ### What does Teams add? Teams is for higher volume and stricter controls: custom limits, provider policy controls, a security review, and dedicated support. Email support@promptlens.io to talk through your requirements.
